Here “Princess Bean” replaces the model chosen by Frank Cadogan Cowper for his work “Vanity”. At the origin of this substitution is the artist Rodney Pike. On this new version of “Vanity”, we are entitled to a new facial expression showing what vanity is, like Rowan Atkinson, disguised as a princess with the dress, the pearl necklace and all the trimmings.
